My name is Carouni, my origins are Cambodia-Laos,
43 years old, married, 2 children (teenagers).

When did this passion...
I've had the opportunity to do quite a few things in my life (for those who know me well 😉 ).
I was a Customer advisor, I retrained as a childcare worker in 2005, and I went back to university to study... and yes, there's no age limit for continuing to learn. On the other hand, my passion for photography remains unscathed and doesn't date back to yesterday, but since 2010, when I got my first SLR, I've enjoyed photographing family, friends, children and anything else that gives me emotion. I've also tried my hand at food photography, and photographed landscapes, because we love traveling, discovering new places and taking beautiful photos.

Why I do it ...

Photography is a real passion that led me to make it my business today.

I specialize in photography of newborns, babies, young children and pregnancy, because it's the closest thing to my former job as a nursery assistant, where I was able to work in the delivery room, in post-natal care, in pediatrics, and in a day-care center.

Life intervened and I had to interrupt this wonderful profession to change our family situation.

Working in a maternity hospital enabled me to understand the physical and physiological state of newborn babies, to be concerned about their well-being, and to be able to pick them up and handle them easily without rushing them, in complete safety.

What I want to bring to you...

From pregnancy to capturing the first magical moments of each newborn, my aim is to capture the authenticity of these precious moments, so that you can cherish them throughout your life.
My world is predominantly white, neutral and uncluttered.

Each photo session is designed to highlight the natural beauty of each individual, while creating a soft, serene atmosphere.
I use minimalist props that complement the setting without overpowering it, and I make sure that each image tells a unique and emotional story.

I'm very fond of instant photos taken in natural light, black-and-white photos and studio shots, which also have their own charm. Whether in natural or artificial light, each session has its own importance.

I continue to train to perfect my skills, and today I can combine my two passions, photography and childcare.

 

Where do the sessions take place?

I can drive around Le Mans but also to La Ferté-Bernard “where I was born and raised!
You can also come to my apartment “STUDIO” in Le Mans Centre, or anywhere else, like Salzburg in Austria, the other place where I live with my little family. I juggle between these two countries!
